Before I search or file anything, we meet to make sure:

Trademark Search
I search various sources and databases beyond just exact matches of your brand name to identify:
- Potential conflicts with existing Trademarks.
- Potential red flags.
- Risk areas that could derail USPTO approval.
I’ll find out if your desired phrase or logo is available or already taken, which saves you from wasting time or filing an Application that will be denied.
This is not a simple database search or internet inquiry – it looks at your brand from how the USPTO will view it + I assess whether they would grant a Trademark for your brand.

Trademark Search Results Call
(30 minutes)
I walk you through:
- What I found in the Trademark Search.
- Strategic recommendations and risk assessment.
- Whether and how to move forward with the Application – or pivot.
You’ll understand how the USPTO sees your brand clearly before filing.
Step 4
Trademark Application Prep Call

Before we submit the Application to the USPTO, we meet again to:
- Discuss your Trademark description (this is the tricky part!).
- Confirm selection of proper Trademark classes (there are 45!)
- Review proof of use (examples of how you use your brand).
- Ensure everything is accurate and strategically drafted before submitting it to the USPTO.

I prepare and file your Trademark Application with the USPTO – crafted to stand up under scrutiny and positioned for approval.

What if I’m not sure if my brand is right to Trademark?
Lisa will help you determine what brand makes sense strategically and legally to protect during your Strategy Call as you begin the process.
What if the Trademark Search reveals a name too similar to mine?
Lisa will work with you to seek out an alternative name that could be more viable. If needed, Lisa will conduct an additional Trademark Search at no extra cost.
Can I Trademark more than one brand?
The Trademark Search + Application Package is designed to support you in Trademarking one name, logo, etc. During your Strategy call, Lisa will help you determine which one is your priority for Trademarking. If you choose to Trademark multiple items, you’ll need to purchase an additional package. That’s just how the USPTO works – for each brand, we have to do a Trademark Search and an Application separately.
In this done-with-you package, what do I need to do for Lisa to prepare the Trademark Search & Application?
You just need to book and hold the 3 calls with Lisa – the Trademark Strategy Call, Trademark Search Results Call and Trademark Application Prep Call. You’ll need to prepare the Trademark Search Prep Sheet and Application Prep Sheet so Lisa has your brand information. You may need to make some edits to your brand on your website that Lisa might suggest so that she can best position your brand for approval by the USPTO.
Does this make Lisa my attorney?
Yes, but just for this project. Even though Lisa may not be licensed in your state, Trademarking is done at the federal level, so she doesn’t have to be licensed in your state.
Does buying this package guarantee my Trademark will be granted?
Nope, unfortunately, just like with all legal steps, there are no guarantees and so there are no refunds. Trademark Examiners are a lot like judges. They use their own individual judgment, and so results can’t be guaranteed, but Lisa does the Trademark Search to identify risks up front and she will prepare your Application and position the evidence in the best light for the USPTO to grant it.
