teaching fitness or yoga this summer?
As the temperatures climb to triple digits here in Arizona, I’m happy to say that my knee has healed enough to return to running and to hiking with Scott.
Here’s a recent pic of us on a trail near our house (the mountains here are so cool!):

Out on the trail, I’m reminded how grateful I am for the fitness trainers + yoga teachers + ALL of you who help people create healthier, stronger lives.
And if you’re an amazing fitness professional – whether you teach in person, on Zoom, or both – I have a NEW legal resource for you.
I’m excited to share my new DIY Fitness Liability Waiver.

Here’s the best part:
In the past, we only had a dedicated fitness liability waiver for online classes.
But now, we’ve simplified your paperwork. You no longer need separate waivers for online and in-person sessions.
This ONE template covers you for sessions BOTH online (live or recorded) AND in-person:
✔ Group fitness classes
✔ 1-on-1 personal training
✔ Yoga classes
✔ Live Zoom classes
✔ Recorded fitness or yoga content (yes, do-on-your-own-time classes too!)
In other words, whether you’re teaching in a studio, a park, a gym, or via Zoom from your living room (hey, that rhymes!)…
This DIY Fitness Liability Waiver disclaims your liability + tells participants that they’re working out “at their own risk”.
You still have to teach proper form and you can’t be negligent in your workout instructions, obviously – but this waiver protects you for both online and in-person sessions. Hooray! 🎉
Remember, when you know you’re legally covered, you can lead your clients in a more relaxed, grounded and confident way.
Simplify your legal protection with the new DIY Fitness Liability Waiver.

Here’s to safe summer fitness workouts – for both you AND your clients! 😎
