Thinking of writing a book? Here’s how.
Have you ever wanted to write a book?
Writing a book was a dream that was always on my bucket list.
But I was terrified.
My monkey-mind kicked in BIG TIME when I was writing Easy Legal Steps…That Are Also Good For Your Soul over a year ago.
If you’re like me, you also may really want to write a book. And your monkey mind may be going nuts too. It might be saying things like:
- Does anyone want to hear what I have to say?
- How do I have time to write a book?
- Will I sound like an idiot when I share my deepest thoughts?
- Will people even want to buy my book?
Your monkey mind can stop you dead in your tracks. It can kill your dream of writing your book.
Thank goodness I corralled support from amazing people like Anjanette Fennell who helped me find the courage to write my book.
If you don’t know Anjanette (“Anj”), she is a Literary Coach and Agent who combined her passion for writing with her desire to help others let go of the “shoulds” and “maybes” and “can’ts” to allow their true voice to gain strength.
That’s exactly what she did for me.
I could not have written my book without Anj’s bi-weekly coaching calls. She boosted my confidence, quieted my worries, and gave me strategies to keep me moving forward with my writing.
You may be thinking of writing a book too. That’s why I invited Anj onto the podcast to share how to courageously tell your story and set up a regular writing practice to get.it.done!
