Like Juan (name changed for confidentiality, natch!). Juan is a doctor. He has an MD in Internal Medicine.
Juan has a very unique approach to an anti-inflammatory diet.
His patients have gotten such great results that they have told their friends and family about it…and the friends and family reached out to him to help them too.
But some of the friends and family were in states outside of where he’s licensed.
He wanted to help them, but he had no idea how that would work.
He’d often dreamed of taking his approach nationwide, but the mere thought of it made his palms sweat.
Some of his colleagues who were taking their medical practices online said, “Just do it and don’t worry about the legal ramifications!”
Juan wondered how doctors were doing it, but keeping things safe on the legal front at the same time.
He’d already spent a ton of time talking to his state board and researching the law himself. He’d also consulted with 2 local lawyers – only to feel even more frustrated because they either told him “No! you can’t do anything at all outside of your state” or they didn’t understand what he was trying to do.
He was trying to get answers to things like:
- How do I keep my license safe?
- Can I work 1-on-1 with people outside of the states where I’m licensed, or do I need to get licensed in every state?
- If I expand online, can I be accused of practicing medicine without a license?
- How does malpractice insurance work?
- What about HIPAA?
- What legal documents do I need and how can I set everything up properly?
The more he thought about taking his practice virtually, the more panicked he felt. He didn’t want to do something wrong. He didn’t want to threaten his license in any way.
I told Juan he’d come to the right place because I have 10 years of experience working with practitioners and coaches in the online space.
I understand the legal issues and risks that licensed practitioners face. Everyone wants more flexibility in how they work these days, but they want everything to be legally SAFE.
I told Juan I’m excited because I’ve created a brand new legal course for licensed medical practitioners to address these very issues.
I told Juan that this course is a fast-track to deep dive into the legal info you need so he can easily reach and help more people.
He was excited because he knew it would be a one-stop-shop for the answers he needed.
Are you a doctor or licensed medical practitioner like Juan who wants to work with more people – but not take unnecessary risks?
Juan was beyond thrilled to know he didn’t need to be terrified anymore.
He felt relieved knowing that he can now get answers that so many other attorneys just don’t have.
He’s excited to know how to move forward.
Juan’s happy that I made it easy for him – and for you.
I told him, “You just show up for the live workshop. I’ll teach you the rest. And along the way, if you’ve got questions, we’ve built that in. I’ve got you covered.”
If you’re looking for an “easy button” to understand what you can and can’t do in the online space…
But hurry! Doors close for this workshop-type experience on November 2.
Here’s to knowing how to reduce your risk when you want to expand your reach as a licensed medical practitioner!
