You can’t “hope & pray” 🙏🏻 no one will ask for a refund. Here’s why.
I know that you may not love using legal documents.
It’s okay, I don’t take it personally (haha!) – I get it.
But here’s the thing… You can’t just “hope & pray”🙏🏻 that no one is going to ask you for a refund.
Especially if you come from a heart-centered or spiritual place and you know that, energetically, “Everything will work out” or “God has my back” or “The Universe is always on my side.”
All are true statements. In general, overall…you’re divinely protected.✨
However, we also live in a human world. With human emotions. And human tendencies…like clients asking you for refunds.
Which means that sometimes you’ll have a client who signs up for your hybrid program, totally intending to attend all of the group calls, show up on time for their 1-on-1 calls, and pay you in full.
But sometimes life happens.
The client changes their mind.
The client loses their day job.
The client decides they’d rather pay for a family trip to Hawaii than pay you what they still owe you.🙀
It happens.
So “hoping & praying” no one will ask you for a refund is not enough.
Unless, of course, you’re happy to provide refunds when you’ve done so much work already. (cough, cough.)
So, this is what would happen if you’re missing key terms… like a refund policy.
You’d have to return the client’s entire investment—all of it!
Why?
Because there was nothing in writing to protect you — no agreement that clearly states your “no refund” policy.
And get this –
❌ A refund policy just on your website? Not enough.
❌ Mentioning it during your calls? Still not enough.
❌ Trusting a friend’s agreement you copied without checking for gaps? Even worse.
In the end, you would HAVE to refund the money.
