Get extra protection and comfort with a COVID-19 Release & Waiver
We’re starting to see the light at the end of the COVID tunnel, but we’re not quite there yet.
Right now some may be able to go back to their favorite hot yoga class in person. Others still need to work out at home with their pup or toddler in tow.
As the world is opening up, you may still feel a little worried if you offer in-person services to clients.
You might feel concerned that your clients could blame you for getting COVID, even as the numbers are going down in many places.
You might feel vulnerable to someone accusing you of doing something wrong as you open up again.
You may not be sure how to handle your clients’ COVID-related questions about returning to your office, fitness class or yoga studio.
We’re all still tiptoeing around how to “get back to normal” without a lot of guidance.
Legal Love Tip™:
Get extra protection and comfort with a COVID-19 Release & Waiver.
Regardless about how you feel about COVID (or the vaccine itself), your clients may feel worried about returning to work with you in person and want reassurance.
A waiver can help everyone feel safe & secure – you AND your clients.
What is it exactly?
The COVID-19 Release and Waiver for Services is a written waiver for your in-person clients to sign following the COVID pandemic as you resume your services with your clients. (Note -This document is for business owners who provide services. It doesn’t cover products).
This document is designed to stand alone – which means it’s not just an addendum or addition to your existing Waiver your client or customer may have already signed in the past.
Who can use it?
Anyone who serves clients in person, especially in close proximity – like yoga teachers, gym owners, personal trainers, fitness instructors, aestheticians, hair stylists, nail techs, massage therapists, energy healers, and more.
Why do you need it?
So you can have extra protection and comfort that you’re getting written consent from your client that they’re voluntarily participating in your in-person services and are aware that they could be exposed to risks – including the risk of contracting COVID-19 or ANY other illness, disease or condition at any time.
Even if you aren’t as worried about COVID now, some of your clients still may be. I created this Release so you can have some peace of mind as you get your in-person biz back on track.
Here’s to peace of mind and reassurance for your clients as you (literally!) open your doors again!
