✨The moment I realized things HAD to change…
Everyone’s money journeys are completely unique. As much as we can compare our Day 1 to someone else’s Day 500, it’s important to remember that we all start from somewhere.
🌟Here are my insights…
Over the years, I’ve talked (and written!) a lot about needing to grow around visibility and vulnerability.
But 13 years ago, I didn’t know about M O N E Y the way I do now.
Yep – I’ve learned a lot about money, honey! 🍯
Not only did I have to stretch myself around ASKING for money, but I also had to work hard at RECEIVING more money.
That sounds odd, right?
I’ve always wanted more money but never did I realize that I had to get more comfortable with RECEIVING more money and actually watching my bank account rise.
It sounds strange, but I had to get more comfortable watching income from my business rise.📈
Not the work that I did for the law firm.
Not for the non-profits I used to work for.
Not for the college I used to work for.
But for me – ME! For the work that I was doing for my OWN business!
In the past (and sometimes in the present) I’ve struggled to feel more confident in charging what I’m worth (whatever that means – if anything at all!), and to freely allow more abundance in exchange for doing the work I love.
✴️ I’m sharing this to remind you that no one wakes up one day and has everything figured out—especially when it comes to money. ✴️
But that doesn’t mean you always have to go it alone – like I did!
There are ways to bend time and take HUGE strides forward on your money journey by learning from others’ experiences.
